Pastor's Corner
Rev. Michael G. Smith (better known as Bro. Mike) has been at Powell's Chapel Baptist for two years. He came to our church as as intermin and then accepted a unanimous vote calling him as our bi-vocational pastor. Mike is a native of North Carolina and is a graduate of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He has previously served churches in Louisana, Tennessee and North Carolina. He and his wife Cheryl, and their two children Melissa and Aaron, reside in Mt Juliet. Mike is also a fulltime Evangelism & Discipleship Specialist at Lifeway Christian Resources in Nashville.
